FAQ
The things men ask us
Straight answers on safety, fitness, cost and logistics. If your question isn't here, ask us — we'll give it to you straight.
Will I actually keep the weight off?
The program is built around habits, not a quick fix — a simple eating structure, daily training and the mindset work to go with it. You leave with a routine you can repeat at home, and we check in with you afterwards. Keeping it off still takes a healthy, energy-controlled diet and regular activity once you're back.
Is one meal a day safe? Isn't that fasting?
Technically, yes — one main meal a day is a form of time-restricted eating, and we're upfront about that. The difference is how it's done: one genuinely good, nutritious meal in a relaxed two-hour window, with enough protein to protect your muscle, daily training and experienced people around you. It isn't right for everyone, which is why the quiz screens for fit and some guests check with their GP first.
I'm not fit. Can I keep up with the training?
Many of the men who come to us haven't trained seriously in years — you won't be the odd one out. Training is scaled to where you're at and builds over your stay. You won't be thrown in the deep end.
What's the deal with Cambodia?
Siem Reap gives you distance from the routines that got you here, a climate built for being outdoors, and a cost base that makes a fully-staffed residential program affordable. We handle airport transfers, accommodation and meals — you just need to get there.
How much time do I need to take off?
Stays run from two to four weeks (with an eight-week option). Two weeks is a powerful reset; four weeks is what we recommend — long enough for the routine to become yours. Many men plan it around leave or a quieter work period.
What do I need to have ready before I book?
Four things: a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates; GP clearance first if the quiz flags it; travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical care and evacuation (a condition of booking); and hold off booking flights until we confirm your intake — or book flexible fares. We confirm your intake in writing once it reaches minimum numbers.
What if I need to cancel or can't travel?
Until your intake is confirmed, your deposit is fully refundable — no fee, no questions. Once the intake is confirmed we've committed the hotel and staffing, so bookings from that point transfer rather than refund: free to a later intake if you ask 30+ days out, or for a rebooking fee closer in. Last-minute issues — illness, flights, work — are what your travel insurance is for, which is why it's a condition of booking. If we ever cancel or move an intake, you get everything back or a free transfer plus a credit, your choice. Nothing here affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
What's included in the price?
Everything on the ground — accommodation, your daily meal, all training and boxing, excursions, massages, airport transfers, visa and eSIM support, and post-retreat support. We also arrange a pre-departure fitness check — on us if it's done before you fly, a small fee if you leave it till you land — so you've got a real baseline to measure your results against. You cover your flights. Pricing is transparent and listed above.
